Glazed and Orangery Extensions
A Glazed Extension is the perfect choice if you are lover of natural light. By combing a lot of glass with a lightweight roof, a glazed extension is the perfect bridge between a conservatory and a traditional extension. The solid, insulated roof gives you warmer winters and cooler summers, and still gives you the flexibility to choose between an orangery roof and lantern, roof windows or skylights. Choosing a glazed extension to expand your home also gives you the best value for money, as they can be installed in just a matter of weeks from start to finish. One major benefit of a glazed extension is that they will often fall under conservatory regulations which makes gaining building regulations a more simple process. A glazed extension is the ideal solution to add an extra living space to your house when a conservatory just isn't going to be useable enough, but you don't want to go through the lengthier and more costly process of building a traditional extension.
Extensions
A traditional extension is designed to be fully integrated into your home, and is built accordingly. All of our extensions are fully compliant with Building Regulations and include the sign off as standard. Whilst they do tend to be more expensive than their glazed extension counterparts, sometimes a traditional extension is what is required. For example, they can be can to be more energy efficient than a glazed extension which is especially important if you are planning larger knock throughs or cut outs. Skylights and orangery lanterns can still be used in traditional extensions to give a real wow factor to the room, especially as a traditional extension tends to have less glazing, it can be a fantastic way to flood the house with natural light.

As standard, we would include any necessary planning applications, design, ground and building work, glazing and roofing. We even can plaster and install any electrics you want!
